Japan NCAP Safety Rating

Japan NCAP recently released a crash test report of the made-in-India Suzuki Fronx; this car has achieved an overall 4-Star safety rating. Fronx achieved an overall 163.75 points out of 193.8 points in the recent crash test. The crash-tested model is equipped with ADAS features. We hope the upcoming Facelift model of Fronx will have all these features in India also. Fronx scored A-Rank (92%) in preventive safety, B-Rank (76%) in the collision safety performance, and a 100% in the automatic accident emergency call system. 

Engine Options

Fronx comes in a 1.2 L K-Series, dual jet, dual VVT  naturally aspirated petrol engine with smart hybrid technology (also available in CNG variant) and a 1.0 L turbo boosterjet petrol engine enabled with smart hybrid technology also. It comes with a manual as well six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Its naturally aspirated petrol engine generates 66 kW power while the turbo petrol engine generates 74 kW power. 

Next Generation Look and Build Quality

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is built on Nexa's advanced Heartect Platform, which is popular for its lightweight and high-strength frame. Fronx is decorated with a dual-tone interior, a wireless charging system, cruise control, rear AC vents, geometric cut alloy wheels, LED DRL, LED Headlamp, and an all-connected LED backlight. Head-up display with six airbags, ABS, ESP, and Hill Hold control defines its look as well as a good build quality. Fronx aerodynamics is better than the competitor's and minimizes the drag force. Maruti Suzuki claims a 21.79 km/l mileage for the manual and 22.89 km/l mileage for the AMT variants of the Fronx 1.2 L K-series naturally aspirated engine, while the same 1.2 L MT CNG engine provides a mileage of 28.51 kg/l. When it comes to the 1.0 L K-series turbo petrol engine, it provides a mileage of 21.5 km/l for the manual variant and 20.01 km/l for the automatic transmission variant. The steady mileage, even on the busy indian traffic and roads, is the main attraction for this Indian Car.

The ex-showroom price of the Fronx starts from INR 7.54 Lacs in India, while its top variant is priced at INR 12.9 Lacs. Fronx on-road price, Delhi will start from 8.5 Lacs to 15 Lacs. Suzuki Fronx comes with 10 attractive colors, which are Nexa Blue (Celestial), Artic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey, Earthen Brown, Opulent Red, Bluish Black, Earthen Brown with Bluish Black Roof, Splendid Silver with Bluish Black Roof, and Opulent Red+Black.
