The Indian Electric car maker company Pravaig has been unveiled its Pravaig Extinction MK1 model in India and claiming 504 kilometers of range per charge. Pravaig is a Bangaluru based electric car start-up company that has raised the eyebrow of all Indian car maker companies with its futuristic next-generation designed car having a great world-class capability. Pravaig assured that this car is made for utility-driven and all the features are outstanding like a world-class electric car.

The senior official of the Pravaig said that everyone was once and a beginner and start from zero. We are also started now. He said that after-sales, service is the main problem in India because of the lack of trend technicians.  They will provide unlimited kilometers of the warranty with this car. This car is made for the Indian roads. 

During the digital unveiling of the Pravaig Extinction MK1, they presented a demo of the battery used in this car. A single battery cell temperature rises above 600-degree Celsius during the explosion test and from the safety point of view 5000 batteries in a box tested live by standing a man on it and that man was fully safe during the explosion. This battery box will be used in the Pravaig Extinction MK1. So, this car is fully safe to drive. Battery explosion could be the main reason for the accident in the electric vehicle and this car is fully safe in this point of view. Pravaig claims that this car is extremely reliable and will come with a 5-Star safety rating standard level.

The best in class third generation high energy density battery is being used in this car of 155 Wh/Kg specific energy density like Tesla's high-performance electric car model S P100 D which is of 160 Wh/Kg specific energy density. Hyundai Kona is available in the Indian electric car market which uses a battery of 141 Wh/Kg while Mercedes Benz uses a battery of 123 Wh/Kg specific energy density. The most sold electric vehicle in India Tata Nexon uses a battery of 95 Wh/Kg specific energy density. The watt-hour per kilogram (Wh/Kg) is a unit of specific energy commonly used to measure the density of energy in batteries.

Pravaig Extinction MK1 will be a 2-door 4-seater luxury car having an interior like lounge style. The lighthouse is all LED lights having an LED projector headlamp and LED DRLs. Though this car will be loaded with more than 100 features, we are going to discuss the five main features of this car here.

  1. Private Space - An owner can customize the car as per his needs. This car will come with an extended legroom feature.
  2. Serious Study Power Ports - The power of this car is of Thunderbolt X2 brand. A space in front of the seat has been given where a 15-inch laptop can be placed easily and you can continue your work just like your home during the journey also. 
  3. Air Purifier - The CO2 level in the car increased to 4000 ppm during the 90 minutes of the journey. The more CO2 level in the car reduces brainpower efficiency. Pravaig Extinction MK1 has used Himalayan Air Purifier which will maintain PM 2.5 level and able to reduce CO2 10 times more. 
  4. Built Like A Tank - This will be one of the safest vehicles in India with 5-Star safety rating standards. This car will come with 8-Airbags.  
  5. Devialet's Phantom Premier Speakers - Pravaig has collaborated with Devialet which is the famous speaker company in France. The Phantom Premier Speaker costs around 3000 dollars and performs well than the 20 times bigger size normal speakers available in the world. Devialet's CEO Franck Lebouchard also assured for giving the best quality sound to this car and said that this car will be a revolution to the Indian electric car market.  

The top speed of the Pravaig Extinction MK1 is 196 kilometers per hour and this car picks up from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour speed in 5.4 seconds only. The 0 to 80% charging time of this electric car is 30 minutes only. This next-generation electric car is powered by a 96 kWh powerful battery which generates a maximum power output of 150 KW and a maximum torque of 2400 Nm. 

The 500+ kilometers range is currently achieved by the Tesla high-performance electric car model Tesla 3 which is not available in India currently. Volkswagen ID.3 also claims the range of 500 kilometers. In the Indian electric car market, Hyundai Kona claims 450 kilometers of range per charge while MG GS claims the range of 340 kilometers per charge. Tata Nexon Electric is the most selling electric car in the Indian market which gives a range of 312 kilometers per charge.     

Pravaig is aiming to produce 2500 Extinction MK1 car models yearly. Initially, this car will be available to Bengaluru and Delhi only. The actual price of this car is yet to reveal. This car will be available on the easy monthly subscription plan option to the commercial fleet operations initially. The availability of this car is limited, so one can file a request to own this car on their website. They will provide the car when it is available for you.
