Revolt RV400: Most Affordable Electric Bike to Buy in 2021 

Revolt Motors has been launched its Revolt RV400 electric bike in India. Revolt RV400 is the artificial intelligence-enabled first affordable electric bike on the Indian roads. Currently, this electric bike is available in Delhi, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai cities. The demand for this electric bike is very high and currently, new bookings are paused. Revolt RV400: Mode and Range

This electric bike comes with three modes which are eco, normal, and sports mode. In eco mode, the top speed will be 45 kilometers/hour and the range will be 150 kilometers. In normal mode, the top speed will be 65 kilometers/hour and the range will be 100 kilometers. The sports mode is the power pick-up mode where a rider will get 85 kilometers/hour of the top speed and 80 kilometers range. 

Revolt RV400: Ergonomics and Comfort 

The seat of the bike is designed to provide a comfortable ride in both cities and highways. A power button has given to supply battery power to the electric motor in one click. Revolt RV400 is facilitated by a remote key that provides lock, unlock, start, and locate my Revolt functions. A rider can adjust footpegs as per his height in this electric bike. You can connect this bike with the Myrevolt App available on the google play store. This App provides the start/stop through easy swipe, riding history of the bike, battery status of the bike, emergency new battery delivery facility, location, geo-fencing, revolt switch, and customized sound features. The 211 mm ground clearance is the best in its segment which enhances the accessibility of the bike on any road.     

Revolt RV400: Design      

The frame of the Revolt RV400 is strong and light in weight which supports better control and improved safety to the rider. The battery of this electric bike is placed on the fuel tank. As we know that the battery is the heaviest part of any electric bike hence a best-placed battery system provides great stability on the corner to both the bike and the rider. 

The Revolt RV400 is powered by a 3KW mid-drive motor which generates 170 Nm of the maximum torque. The power transmission system is connected through a sprocket belt drive system instead of the conventional chain sprocket drive system. The life of the belt drive is more than a chain drive and it's free from washing and lubrication. 

The Revolt RV400 is decorated with an all-LED lighthouse. The headlamp is an LED projection headlamp having a daytime running light (DRL) also. The tail lamp and all winkers are LED lights. 

The instrument cluster of this bike is fully digital. A rider can get real-time data of the speed, range, battery percentage, riding mode, bike temperature, and a clock on the digital instrument cluster.

Revolt RV400: Brake, Suspension, and Tyres

A combination braking system (CBS) has been added to the braking house of the Revolt RV400 with the double-disc in the front and rear tyres. A CBS system combines the braking in both wheels by pressing a single front or rear brake. The front suspension is upside down (USD) forks type and in the rear, an easily replaceable mono-shock has been given in this electric bike. 

Revolt RV400 comes with a 90 mm MRF zapper tyre on the front side and a 120 mm MRF zapper tyre on the rear side having both the rims of 17-inch alloy wheels for a better grip on the road. 

For safety purposes, a safety-stand added to this bike keeps engine power off when it is in the use. You can customize the artificial exhaust sound of this bike in four modes which are revolt, rebel, roar, and rage.

Revolt RV400: Battery and Warranty

A 72 V and 3.24 kWh Lithium-ion battery has been used in this bike which is facilitated by a 15 Amp portable charger. The battery gets fully charged from 0% to 100% within 4.5 hours duration while it takes 3 hours to charge 75% from 0%. The battery warranty of the Revolt RV400 is 8 years or 1,50,000 kilometers having 2 years of battery charger warranty also.

Revolt RV400: Colour and Price

The Revolt RV400 comes in two attractive colors which are Rebel Red and Cosmic Black.

You can book this electric bike by paying Rupees 7,999 booking amount only on Revolt Motors showrooms. The ex-showroom price (after subsidy from the Indian Government) of the Revolt RV400 starts from Rupees 1,18,999. The Revolt RV400 is available on the EMI plan of Rupees 6,075 in the 24 months and Rupees 4,399 in the 36 months. The EMI plan includes additional unlimited maintenance of the three years, insurance (2 years own damage + 5 years third party), and one-time tyres replacement features.
